Thompson High School

Coach Mac, a former BUSA 95 ECNL standout, played collegiate soccer at Samford University, where she was a member of the prestigious All-SoCon First team. In her time at Samford she was part of 3 Conference Championships and she made school history by becoming Samford’s all time leader in goals scored and leader in single goals in a season.  In High school, Coach Mac was named a Player-to-Watch in Alabama by Top Drawer Soccer. She was also rated as a 4-star recruit by her club team which was named the 10th-ranked squad in the South Region. Coach Mac proved to be a four-year participant in the Alabama Olympic Developmental Program and a consistent Region Camp selector in her youth years. 

Her coaching career consists of 2 State League Championships for her Club Alabama FC, where she served as head coach for U-15 & U-17. She was Assistant Head Coach for FC Birmingham, a semi pro team from the greater Birmingham area. She served as Head Coach for Junior Varsity for Hoover High School. 

Coach Mac is excited to be a part of the Thompson Community. She has lived in Alabaster for 5 years. She will be graduating with a  Masters of Science in Education May 2024, with plans on becoming a teacher.
