Morgan White (Momo) has lived her whole life in Birmingham. Before going to the University of South Alabama she won a state championship at The Westminster School at Oak Mountain where she scored in the last two seconds of overtime to win it. She had a school record of 107 career goals at Westminster and won the Gatorade Player of the Year for Alabama before her senior season got cut short due to COVID-19. Morgan was first team class 1A-3A honors, named first team all-county and super all-state as well as being named the Shelby County player of the year in 2019 as a junior. As a freshman, Morgan was second-team all county, and during her sophomore year she was first team all-county and second team all-state.
Not only did she have success in soccer, but she also played basketball for her high school making a final four appearance her Freshman and Junior year and going to the Elite 8 her senior year. While in high school, Momo held the school record for career points exceeding 1600 points. She was voted to the all-county team three times, all-city team two times, and made an appearance on the all-state team.
Morgan played her entire soccer career at BUSA and later Alabama FC where they went to nationals three times during her time there. After graduation, Momo continued her soccer career at South Alabama in Mobile for two years where she played defensive midfield as well as center back. During her time at South Alabama, Momo and the Jaguars won the SunBelt conference both years she was there and appeared in the second round of the NCAA tournament as a freshman and made it to the first round her sophomore year.
At the end of her sophomore year she transferred to The University of Alabama at Birmingham and continued to play as a center back for the Blazers. She has worked for Coach DeMasters at his Dynamic Development soccer camp for the last three years and just joined his staff this year. Momo will graduate this summer from UAB with a major in general studies and two minors in biology and psychology.
