ALABASTER, Ala. — August 3, 2026 — Thompson High School (THS) Athletics is proud to announce that theThompson Football program has been selected as an inaugural member of the Under Armour Next High School Initiative. Thompson is one of only 15 elite high school football programs in the nation chosen for this exclusive platform. This designation further expands Thompson & Under Armour's existing partnership.

Building on a decade-long partnership, Under Armour remains a staple across the Thompson High School campus, outfitting every Warrior athletic team and supporting programs across all sports. While this prestigious UA Next distinction puts a national spotlight on the championship football program, it reinforces Under Armour's ongoing commitment to elevating the athletic experience for all Warrior student-athletes.

The Under Armour Next High School Initiative was established to spotlight, support, and elevate national powerhouse programs that consistently redefine excellence on and off the field. As an official Under Armour partner school, Thompson High School will receive specialized support, elite gear, and unique opportunities designed to train, compete, and showcase student-athletes on a national stage.
