ALABASTER, Ala. — Thompson High School (THS) Athletics today announced an unprecedented broadcast partnership with WOTM TV, bringing an entire football season live to a statewide television audience for the first time in Alabama history. 

Under the agreement, WOTM TV will carry live coverage of every Thompson Warriors football game throughout the season, significantly expanding viewing access for local fans, alumni, and supporters throughout Alabama.

Thompson High School Director of Athletics Vincent Pitts welcomes this new partnership - a collaboration he says will greatly expand access and further elevate the profile of the Warrior Football program and THS Athletics. 

"Our Warrior Nation Broadcast will still be the same great broadcast, and will still be available to view with our great NFHS network partner, but will also expand availability to the WOTM cable network." "Providing our student-athletes and community with this level of broadcast exposure is a significant milestone," Pitts said. "This was certainly the vision for the Warrior Nation Network years ago, and I am excited for it to come to fruition and be realized. I want to thank our administration for helping us get this in place, our NFHS partners for many years of great partnership and WOTM for their willingness to partner on this new venture, we are excited for the upcoming season."

Distribution and Viewing Options

Coverage will be made available through multiple television and digital distribution channels:

• Over-the-Air & Local Cable: Live broadcasts on WOTM TV (Channel 19) across regional cable providers and over-the-air digital antennas in Central Alabama.

• Connected TV Applications: Available via the WOTM Sports app on Roku TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV.

• Web Streaming: Digital broadcasts will stream live on the official web portal at wotm.tv.

• NFHS Network: Subscribed out-of-market viewers can continue to access broadcasts via the NFHS Network.

Additional details regarding broadcast times and production schedules will be released prior to the start of the Fall 2026 season.
